First update of 2007
2006 was quite a year.
So far 2007 has been pretty good. I took my first graduate EE course the other day (Power Substation Design) and it looks reasonably interesting.
Things to do in 2007
1.) Pass the class
2.) Go skiing
3.) Learn a little Chinese and Japanese
4.) Lose 30 pounds on my backpacker's diet.
5.) Update my blog more frequently
Well number 5 is already falling apart...

Backpacker's diet: Possibility 1) One only eats while walking. Possibility 2)0ne only eats things that taste like a backpack. Possibility 3) One only eats- a day, a week- the amount of food that can be crammed into a backpack.
LOL! More number one than anything else. A combination of eating while walking, eating food that you walked to the grocery store to get, and walking 3 miles a day with a 20 pound weight on your shoulders.
Peresonally I think you should learn French - it will get you out of purgatory a lot faster if nothing else.

Believe it or not I'd be willing to give French a shot if I was going to spend more than a three days in France, NonFlanders Belgium, or Western Switzerland.
I bought a Japanese Berlitz book last weekend and believe it or not, now know at least 30 words.
Enough that I recognize the occasional word on Heroes between Hiro and Anato.
